teacher at the church she attended and she also
committed herself to Vacation Bible School, choir,
and drama activities as well.
Ms.
Bolding has a strong desire and drive to provide
youth with hope and to deter violence in the
community by offering programs in theater arts as a
tool to empower youth to discover their God given
talents and perfect will for their life and to
motivate and aspired them to reach higher
accomplishments than they ever thought
possible. With this plan coupled
with God’s principles our youth are in a win; win
situation. In 2003 she formed the
dance troupe called: GRACE out of a desire to help
the youth in her own family, then later wrote a
controversial play titled: “Tired”. This deals with
the destruction of heroin use in our homes and
community. With much success
since then She’lia has been inspired to turn plays
into opera.
Her most
recent play entitled: “Who Am I & Why Am I
Here?” attempts to answer questions regarding gang
violence and insist that the church respond. She
feels the church should play an instrumental role by
using faith principles, good manners, and respect to
win back our children and communities so no child is
left behind.
